This month is one of the photos that inspired my reason for doing the 2022 calendar and calling it Bird’s-eye view. I snapped our Laughing Kookaburra mate here across the road from my old house with a camera that had a very small zoom. So, although you can’t see it in the photo, I am hanging off a fence (not my fence either!) trying to get as close as possible. Thankfully Kookie was not paying any attention to me. He/she later gifted me a front view – the view my Mum wishes I put in the calendar – sorry! I promise there will be a kookaburra in the calendar for 2023. I hope your April gives you time to see the bigger picture as our friend here is doing, a bunch of joy and something to laugh about each day.
