Happy October friends! Say hello to ‘Mumma’ the Australian Magpie on your calendar. Mumma is really special to me. She visits every day and has for a few years now. At first she came on her own and she used to hang out and sit on me and cluck. She never sang, just clucked. Then she met her partner ‘Pop’ (yes I know it’s not very original) and he shows up each day too. Pop has an extraordinary vocal range from mimicking black cockatoo to barking dogs. They have had 3 lots of babies, the latest I hope will visit any day now. I hope you enjoy your month! P.s. I have 3 x 2023 calendars left – is one for you?
