Hi! I’m Mel and I am a self-taught artist based in the Moreton Bay region in Queensland, Australia. My coloured pencil and pastel artworks depict the beauty I see in Australian nature, especially in my backyard. I particularly love drawing, learning about, and taking photos of Australian birds. I have written, illustrated and self-published two children’s books about the nature I have encountered in my backyard. I create art in my spare time and I also enjoy writing, photography, bushwalking, and spending time with family and friends.

There are two ways to place an order . You can get in touch with me if you would like to place an order and you are happy to pay by money transfer. If you live locally to me (Morteon Bay Region, Brisbane, Queensland), I may also be able to accommodate in-person pick up. The best way to get in touch is to email me or send me a DM on socials. I will do my best to respond as quickly as possible. Once you place an order, I will send you my payment details.
The second option is my Etsy Shop which offers other online payment options.
If you have a question, or there is something you would like to order but it is not featured (e.g., a different coloured mug, a print etc), please reach out and let me know. Email or DM on socials is the best way to get in touch.
